Registered participants will receive specific instructions closer to the date of the conference.
In the meantime, we hope you find the below, more general, practical information helpful.
The EUIA Conference will take place at the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Sciences and the Arts (KVAB)
From Brussels Airport (Zaventem)
We recommend you take the train to Brussels Central Station.
Please click here to see the route with public transport on google maps.
Should you choose to take a taxi, be prepared to pay approximately 60€.
From Brussels Airport South (Charleroi)
We recommend you take the Airport Shuttle to the Brussels city centre.
The shuttle will bring you to Brussels South Station (‘Zuid’ in Dutch or ‘Midi’ in French; this is the only and final stop). The quickest option to reach the venue from there is to take metro line 2 or 6 in the direction ‘Elisabeth’ to ‘Troon/Trône’ (5 stops).
By metro or bus
‘Troon/Trône’ is the closest metro station to the venue.
Underground lines 2 and 6 stop here. You can switch from lines 1 or 5 to lines 2 or 6 in metro stations ‘Beekkant’ and ‘Kunst-Wet/Arts-Loi’.
The bus 95 line stops at metro station ‘Troon/Trône’, as well as lines 27, 38 and 71.
From ‘Troon/Trône’ you should be able to see the venue, walking route from metro here.
Follow the inner-ringroads clockwise towards ‘Wetstraat/Rue de la Loi’, then take the side-road of Regentlaan to the Parc: the Academy is to your right.
Plan your route through Google Maps here.
Parking garages can be found here. Parking in the center is discouraged, we recommand using public transport.
EUIA has partnered up with the Brussels Booking Desk, a local support of the Brussels’ Hotel Community and visit.brussels to offer attractive prices for EUIA participants.
